Sorry there aren’t more updates.
Once again thank you for everyone who visits this page, especially those who have contacted me and left really nice comments. I’m glad you enjoy my website. It’s especially nice to see all the visitors outside the US. 🙂 Thank you for your support.
Sorry it’s been a while since my last update. Last month I was dealing with a lot of personal issues relating to my father’s passing earlier this year. Last month would have been his birthday. Also near the end of the month I did a fundraising walk for the National Kidney Foundation. We managed to have people donate enough money to raise $400 for our walk!
This month will probably also cause me some anguish. I have to change the radio station any time there’s a mention of Father’s Day. I have to delete emails from companies mentioning Father’s Day sales and the like. (I don’t dare look at them.) Besides that, I think I’m just managing to finally start to put my life back together. It’s enough that at least I’m at the point of sitting down again, scheduling things, and making plans. It helps that the seasonal farmers markets have started up in nearby towns, along with Food Truck night events as well. Getting out and having some fun really helps.
As always thanks for the views, comments, and support.

The width of the DVD case itself is just under 2 DVD cases. Just like the OVA set, the TV Series Collection comes with a slip cover that goes over it. See below for pictures of the front, back, side and top.
Here’s what the inside of the case looks like. And this time there’s some artwork with it, which looks awesome! The artwork is on the reverse side of the DVD cover insert. Great job Discotek Media!
I also made a wallpaper of that artwork and posted it on my DeviantArt account.
Again, moving your cursor over a selection turns the Rekka/Wildfire armor symbol red. Selected options use that gold circle you see under the “Play all.”
I’ve only watched the first disc so far, but the video looks great! I watched the episodes with my husband and he agreed it looked really nice. I haven’t noticed any ghosting so far that plagued the first episode of Gaiden in the OVA set.
Although I will say the subtitles are exactly the same as the original Bandai release. I played both videos side by side on each of my monitors to confirm this. So if you were one of the fans hoping for new subtitles on this release, no such luck.
Some of you who already have the TV Series DVDs from Bandai may be wondering if it’s worth the cost to purchase the Discotek Media edition. While of course the end result of that choice belongs to you, here some things to keep in mind.
And once again many thanks to Discotek Media for picking up this series.
